Hypnotherapy is a powerful, effective and rapid form of therapy compared to other forms of therapy as it works with the subconscious mind. Using hypnosis and talking therapy, hypnotherapy techniques facilitate the change that you want in limiting the harmful thoughts, behaviour or feelings you are experiencing. Hypnosis is a completely natural state that we all enter in some part of our day, for example when you are reading a book or watching a film and you are so focussed you don’t hear what is going on around you...that is a hypnotic state. Perhaps sometimes you have driven somewhere and you can’t remember how you got there...another example of an hypnotic state. In an hypnotic state our subconscious mind is more susceptible to suggestion and can take on the realistic, positive suggestion given through therapy.


Hypnotherapy is NHS endorsed and there are no side effects. You are fully in control in therapy and the changes will only work if you want them to work.

Talking Therapy/Psychotherapy

Talking therapy can help to deal with resolving problems that may have built up over a period of time. Through listening and discussing important issues, we can work together to form strategies for resolving problems, and if necessary help to change your attitude and behaviour. Talking helps to identify issues, and it may help you understand your thoughts feelings and actions more clearly.  

In some cases talking therapy is used alone but i can offer it combined with another therapy such as Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) and Hypnotherapy for a successful therapeutic experience.
